    1. This is one of the stories from The Yellow Wallpaper and Other Writings, of which I thought all the short stories were extraordinary - 5 stars for all of them. Each story takes a simple concept of female life, and probes at it, and what-ifs it, and exposes it until it reaches one of many ultimate conclusions.
